Taiwan CTCI Receives HBR's Digital Transformation Breakthrough Award for Efforts in Technological Innovation
Taipei, October 3, 2023 - CTCI, a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project contractor in Taiwan and one of the top 100 globally, has been recognized for its outstanding performance in adopting innovative technologies. The company is honored with the "Digital Transformation Excellence Award" at the 3rd Harvard Business Review (HBR) Digital Transformation Breakthrough Award. Mr. Ting-Chuang Li, CEO of CTCI’s Group Shared Services, accepted the award on behalf of the company on October 3rd. This achievement follows the recognition of Group Chairman John T. Yu, who received the "Digital Transformation Leadership Award" during the 2nd edition of the awards, marking another significant milestone for CTCI.
The " Digital Transformation Breakthrough Awards" are co-hosted by HBR and leading enterprise management software provider SAP. They evaluate the digital transformation efforts of Taiwanese companies, categorized by industry and revenue scale. This year, CTCI excelled in two major areas: "Operational Excellence" and "Innovative Business Models."
Mr. Ting-Chuang Li, CEO of CTCI’s Group Shared Services, expressed the company's longstanding commitment to integrating new technologies into project execution and logistical management. This commitment includes initiatives such as the development of a "Digital Twin" platform for virtual and physical integration, the adoption of innovative green technologies for zero emission projects, providing one-stop digitalized plant construction services for high-tech industries, the utilization of robotics to enhance operational and construction efficiency, the establishment of the "iManagement" platform for intelligent management to reduce logistical hours and labor, and the creation of "CTCI University," a borderless, real-time digital learning platform exclusively for employees. In the future, CTCI will continue to leverage digital technology applications, innovate engineering techniques, and enhance operational efficiency while incorporating ESG principles to promote green engineering and ensure the sustainability of our planet.
