Taiwan CTCI Rides Global AI Facility Expansion Wave with Integrated EPC Expertise

TAIPEI, September 4, 2026- Driven by the expansion of AI, the demand for high-tech facility construction continues unabated. On September 3, CTCI Chairman Michael Yang, who also serves as President of the Chinese Institute of Engineers, attended the High-Tech Facility International Forum as a guest of honor to deliver opening remarks. Addressing hundreds of industry and academic leaders, Chairman Yang joined Chih-Ming Lai (President of High-Tech Facility Association and the President of UIS), Donghui Lu (Head of Micron Taiwan), and Wen-Chang Chen (President of National Taiwan University) to share insights on AI applications in high-tech facilities, engineering innovation, and industry trends.

Organized by the High-Tech Facility Association, the forum was one of this year’s premier events for high-tech industry professionals, centered on the theme “Accelerating the Future of High-Tech Facilities Through AI-Driven Innovation.” In his opening remarks, Chairman Yang highlighted the foundational role of engineering in national development and emphasized how the tech industry acts as an accelerator for the global economy. He encouraged professionals across industry and academia to collaborate by combining engineering expertise with technological innovation. Stressing the importance of forming “a national supply team” to pool strengths, he expressed high hopes for the continued global success of Taiwan’s high-tech sector.
