Precast Concrete Construction
Leveraging extensive engineering expertise and field experience, CTCI provides fully integrated precast concrete services across the entire project life cycle, from planning and design to element manufacturing and on-site construction. In 2023, CTCI formally adopted precast concrete construction and established its own plant for in-house element production. CTCI is one of the few companies in Taiwan that possess structural design capability, a Class A general contractor license, and a dedicated precast production facility. Through full vertical integration of design, production, and construction, our multidisciplinary teams collaborate from the earliest stages of projects. By aligning technical requirements early and coordinating continuously through the project life cycle, CTCI effectively manages project interfaces, construction quality, and schedule, delivering efficient and highly reliable engineering solutions. Precast concrete construction involves fabricating major structural elements such as columns, beams, floor slabs, and walls in a controlled factory environment before transporting them to site for assembly. Off-site fabrication ensures precise dimensions, consistent concrete quality, and reliable production schedules. On site, crane erection replaces extensive formwork, rebar fixing, and concrete placement. This streamlines construction, significantly shortens project schedules, mitigates labor shortages, minimizes work at height, and strengthens overall jobsite safety. In line with Taiwan's 2050 net-zero emissions policy and the wider move toward low-carbon buildings, CTCI continues to advance and innovate precast technology. Precast construction is widely recognized as a key low-carbon building technology. By shifting work from the site to the factory, it minimizes construction waste and significantly reduces carbon emissions during the construction stage, helping clients achieve green building certification, low-carbon building labeling, and embodied carbon reduction targets while enhancing sustainable value across the building's life cycle. CTCI's precast services are available as standalone packages or as part of EPC projects. We take a client-centered approach, delivering comprehensive precast strategies for every project phase, assisting clients in evaluating site conditions and project requirements, and proposing optimized precast configurations, including element segmentation, production scheduling, transport logistics, and erection planning.
