Taiwan CTCI Shares How It Powers Tech Firms’ Global Expansion at Economic Diplomacy Forum Attended by Taiwan President
TAIPEI, October 30, 2026- Today CTCI Group President Ming-Shyan Lee was invited to a high-profile economic diplomacy forum attended by officials, business representatives, and academics—including President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Lai Ching-te. During a roundtable, President Lee joined Acer founder Stan Shih, TEEMA Secretariat-General Chuan-Neng Lin, and ITRI Senior Vice President Stephen Su to talk about the “big-leading-small” strategy that enables domestic supply chain firms to expand overseas. President Lee shared CTCI’s stories in helping high-tech clients expand globally, highlighting the experience and expertise in plant construction, tech park site planning, and critical infrastructure integration.
“Successful expansion overseas is more than about building a plant,” Lee pointed out during the high-profile event for the high-tech industry, which was co-organized by Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), Mt. Dadu Industrial Innovation Foundation, and Business Today. “The key lies in a deep understanding of local laws, market environment, and infrastructure conditions. One also needs to be able to combine global supply chain resources, human resources, and local resources to come up with market-tailored solutions. Only by then can an investment plan turn into actual production.”
He highlighted that with more than 50 offices worldwide, or “mini-CTCIs,” CTCI Group has long developed its overseas business, operating in over 10 countries. The Group possesses extensive global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) experience. Drawing on Group resources, CTCI provides site assessment, tech park planning, and power/water/waste solvent infrastructure integration services. As a key member of TEEMA’s global Taiwan Tech Park development team, CTCI is in charge of planning tech parks, managing projects, and executing EPC work in Mexico, the United States, Poland, and India. This extends CTCI’s service beyond single-plant expansion to include industrial cluster-building overseas.
With surging global investments in the semiconductor and high-tech industry, high-tech facility projects now account for 56% of CTCI’s new contracts through September, fueling the Group’s business growth. As the high-tech supply chain firms catches up in expanding their presence overseas, CTCI will implement a strategy of “global expansion, deeper local presence,” draw upon the strengths of global engineering integration and local execution, and follow along with the clients overseas, aiming to become the most reliable global engineering services provider for the high-tech industry.
