CTCI SDGs Action

CTCI upholds corporate social responsibility and actively supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Company continues to innovate in areas such as green engineering, intelligent applications, circular economy, and corporate citizenship. It is committed to promote industrial upgrading, achieve environmental sustainability, and foster social inclusion, thereby establishing itself as a global benchmark for sustainable engineering enterprises.

Drive for Net Zero

CTCI prides itself on being a "Guardian of Sustainable Earth." Led by the Group Chairman, the company's top executives have made a net-zero pledge, demonstrating their commitment to achieving net-zero emissions. CTCI also announced a net-zero commitment, with the net-zero reduction target (set in January 2024) approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This target aligns with the trajectory of limiting the average global temperature increase within 1.5°C set by the Paris Agreement. CTCI is the first engineering service company in Taiwan to have its targets approved by this initiative, and aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2045 ― ahead of the global 2050 net-zero target.
　

Total Participation in ESG to Practice Net Zero EPC

To further embed sustainable development into the Group's core competitiveness and DNA, CTCI launched the "Total Participation in ESG Implementation" program in 2018. This initiative integrates an ESG × AI Moment into even the smallest internal meetings, encouraging staff to share the latest sustainability knowledge with participants. The program also encompasses a range of sustainability activities, including microfilm competitions and monthly sustainability and net-zero progress meetings within each business group to track the advancement of initiatives. These efforts reflect CTCI's firm commitment and proactive actions to cultivate a deeply rooted corporate sustainability culture.
　

2025 CTCI Group ESG Award

Continuing the ESG Award's annual focus, a dual-theme project contest was held with the categories "CTCI Group Environmental Action" and "CTCI Group Social Impact" to actively advance sustainability efforts. This year also introduced the "Sustainability Promotion Ambassador" project to expand environmental and social impact initiatives, encouraging employees to propose diverse sustainability ideas. Through "Empowerment Workshops," creative thinking for proposals is fostered, allowing selected participants to further enhance their proposals by deeply exploring their impact and dissemination potential, aligning with the SDGs and guiding co-creation and realization of sustainable values. This cultivates a core spirit of "people-centered, hands-on thinking, and embracing failure." The total prize pool reaches NT$310,000, with the Grand Prize worth NT$50,000. Proposals will be evaluated for feasibility by respective responsible units and may be adopted for implementation.
