TAIPEI, May 28, 2026- CTCI Resources Engineering Inc. (CTCI REI), a CTCI Group company with strong track record in geotechnical engineering projects, recently won a contract to rebuild Yongfu Home in Taipei City, a nursing home belonging to the Taipei Municipal Yangming Institution for the Disabled. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on May 27, with facility completion and official opening scheduled for 2030, at which point it will transform into a next-generation sustainable social welfare environment. This project represents CTCI REI’s successful entry to the social welfare infrastructure business.
Initiated and managed by the New Construction Office of the Public Works Department, Taipei City Government, the project features a design composed of 7 stories above ground and 2 stories below ground. CTCI REI’s scope of work encompasses soil and water conservation, retaining excavation, building structures, and landscape engineering.
Ching-Ho Lai, President of CTCI REI, stated: "With a commitment to the ‘Most Reliable’ brand spirit, CTCI REI will deploy its extensive geotechnical engineering experience and 4D engineering planning capabilities to overcome the challenges of the site's hillside location and substantial elevation drop. Furthermore, we will integrate green engineering technologies to comprehensively boost energy savings and carbon emissions reduction. Upon completion, the project will pursue Taiwan’s Green Building (EEWH) certification, aiming to establish a sustainable, next-generation model facility that features ecological, energy-saving, and waste-reducing benefits, thereby helping the city government achieve its policy goals of fostering welfare for citizens with disabilities."
