Taiwan Guardian of Sustainable Earth: CTCI Secures Bid for Chiayi Green Energy Sustainable Circulation Center BOT Project

The annual convention of the 2024 Federation of Engineering Institutes of Asia and Pacific (FEIAP) was grandly held in Taipei on May 1. Responding to the sustainable trend in environment, social and governance (ESG), the event themed on “resilient engineering and education to realize a net-zero future.” As a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services provider in Taiwan, CTCI Group Chairman John T. Yu was invited by Chinese Institute of Engineers, the host of this event, to be a keynote speaker introducing CTCI as a “Guardian of Sustainable Earth.” With over 40 global engineers from 12 economies, Group Chairman Yu also attended the net-zero oath and tree-planting ceremony at CTCI's 2nd HQ Building, committed to make contributions in realizing sustainable future with concrete actions.

FEIAP is one of the most indicative global engineering federations in the Asia-Pacific, dedicated to promote the world’s progress and prosperity with advanced engineering technology. As a leading EPC project contractor in Taiwan and one of the top 100 globally, CTCI is a member of Chinese Institute of Engineers which joined the FEIAP in 2008. Following the opening ceremony of the annual convention, all attendees headed to CTCI's 2nd HQ Building to join the net-zero oath and tree-planting ceremony. Group Chairman Yu remarked that CTCI’s 2nd HQ Building has become an iconic smart building visited by all walks of life, and is one of the smart green building models built by CTCI, bagging three prestigious certifications including LEED Gold, Taiwan's EEWH Diamond Label and Taiwan's Diamond Class IGB Award. In the future, CTCI will continue accelerating a virtuous cycle of sustainable Earth, making every effort in protecting the environment in an environmentally-friendly way.
