CTCI Named to CDP’s A-List with Dual “A” Ratings, Demonstrating Leadership in Advancing Global Sustainability
CTCI Group, committed to the mission as a “Guardian of Sustainable Earth,” is proud to announce that it has achieved A-list statuses in both “climate change” and “supply engagement” categories according to the latest 2025 assessment results released by CDP, a leading global environmental information disclosure platform. Ting-Chuang Li, CEO of CTCI’s Group Shared Services, attended the award ceremony on April 10 to accept the honor on behalf of the Group. This recognition highlights CTCI’s outstanding transparency in environmental governance and reinforces its leading position in global green engineering.
In 2025, more than 22,100 companies worldwide—representing over half of global market capitalization—have participated in the assessment made by CDP, one of the world’s influential environmental information disclosure organizations. Under its rigorous evaluation process, only around 4% of companies achieved an “A” rating. CTCI’s exceptional performance in governance has enabled it to become the most reliable, strategic partner for global clients in advancing green transformation and low-carbon deployment.
CTCI translates its sustainability governance into concrete actions and measurable targets. In the area of climate change, CTCI’s carbon emissions reduction targets that are aligned to the Science Based Targets initiative have passed official review in 2024. In 2025, CTCI reduced 24.1% of its own carbon emissions, significantly surpassing its annual target of 12.6%. It also aims to achieve net zero emissions across its global offices by 2030 and achieve net zero across all global sites by 2045. Meanwhile, CTCI has implemented an internal carbon pricing system and adjusted the carbon price to US$100 per ton CO2e to drive emissions reduction. To enhance the energy management performance at its headquarters, CTCI has introduced and was certified to the ISO standard on energy management system, the ISO 50001.
In the area of supplier engagement, CTCI continues to invite its suppliers to join the Supplier Alliance for Net Zero Emissions, and assists them to manage their carbon emissions and low-carbon transition through a series of carbon inventory support measures and training workshops. Thanks to the help from CTCI, 260 suppliers have acquired carbon management capabilities. CTCI aims to raise that figure to 500 by 2030, driving sustainable development and coprosperity across the supply chain.
CTCI’s rigorous approach to sustainability governance has also been successfully translated into a core competitive advantage that drives business growth. Since 2015, the monetary value of its Green Engineering backlog has increased by 753%, with cumulative green investments exceeding NT$45.4 billion. CTCI’s business areas span across hydrocarbon and petrochemicals, high-tech facility, and power, and can precisely address the industry needs for net zero transition and resilient infrastructure. It has also played an important role in building a low-carbon energy and transition system by participating in projects such as Taiwan’s gas-fired power plants, LNG receiving terminals, and railways.
At the same time, CTCI leverages its proprietary “CTCI Digital Twin” and “CTCI AI Smart Platform” to simulate the full lifecycle of engineering projects in the cloud, turning carbon emissions reduction challenges into business opportunities for efficient operations and maintenance. CTCI has also actively participated in the research and development of advanced green technologies, successfully delivering some of Taiwan’s national-level net zero projects, including the nation’s first carbon capture, utilization, and storage project. Furthermore, CTCI has turned the water reclamation technologies that were deployed at the Southern Taiwan Science Park Water Reclamation Plant for wastewater recovery into a “standard solution,” helping industries such as semiconductors address water scarcity challenges—a prime example of how clients globally could benefit from CTCI’s forward-looking technologies.
Looking ahead, CTCI will continue to expand the impact of its Green Engineering capabilities, working hand in hand with global partners to achieve win-win between environmental protection and corporate profitability, and safeguard the Earth’s sustainable development.
