The wave of intelligence has swept the globe and the world everyone lives in is rapidly changing. Merely adapting to the trend can no longer allow us to keep pace with the changes in the global market. Only if we are fully prepared for countermeasure by putting in place the innovation for the future can we “win over the world with intelligence”. CTCI Group Chairman John T. Yu said in this issue of "Outlook" that, CTCI addresses the global challenges with its four strategic goals, namely developing new dimensions in turnkey service, creating new value of intelligent service, enhancing resource cycling efficiency and strengthening the soft power of corporate culture, to make true on its promise of “Discover Reliable”.

In its engineering services, during the execution of Malaysia's RAPID Package 1 RFCC project last year, CTCI was not only ahead of other contractors from various countries engaged in the comprehensive development project in construction progress but also received notable commendations in HSE management from the client, including the " Best HSE Area Award” and “Best Quality Contractor Award”. It shows that CTCI has won the trust of the client in terms of project quality and performance. In addition, one of the project’s highlights is the prefabrication of two of that country's heaviest modularized waste heat boilers weighted up to 2,000 tons in Taiwan and their delivery to the construction site in Malaysia for installation. For CTCI, it set a new milestone in the turnkey project service. Please read the current issue of "Discover Reliable" for an in-depth coverage.

With the advent of Industry 4.0, CTCI continues to devote efforts in the research and development of new technologies to optimize the iEPC intelligent turnkey project services. In this issue of "Technology", CTCI continues to provide the most reliable service to customers worldwide by cooperation with the Department of Chemical Engineering of National Taiwan University to present the research findings in a dynamic simulation analysis of the steam pipe network and explain in simple terms how to improve steam system efficiency and energy use efficiency in petrochemical plants.

"Professionalism, Integrity, Teamwork and Innovation" are the four pillars of CTCI's corporate culture. "Professional" means not only providing satisfactory service to customers, but also to achieve "Safety" as the fundamental requirement. For years, CTCI has established a comprehensive HSE management system. To echo the 17 global sustainable development goals (SDGs) adopted at the United Nations in 2015, the article in this issue of "Sustainable Future" describes how CTCI responds to these objectives with practical safety and cultural initiatives in an effort to create a healthy working environment, safeguard labor safety and promote CTCI's sustainable development.

We are one global family in CTCI. In this issue of "CTCI Family", we have invited Mr. Nelson Hsieh of the Project Service Division at HBO, who grew up abroad, not only to share with us some of the work experiences he has gained over the past few years after he came back to Taiwan, but also tell us about the special work and life experience he had gained during his project assignment in Saudi Arabia. Enjoy the reading!
