CTCI Americas Works with Habitat for Humanity-Central Arizona to Build a Home in Local Community

On March 4th, 2022, CTCI Americas employees volunteered at Habitat for Humanity (HFH) Central Arizona, to help paint a home for a family from Somalia. For years, HFH has made many homes in Arizona for families in need. One of their members working with us was provided one a few years ago and loves it. It was very interesting to hear that the houses built have a very low foreclosure rate, and many families make it their forever home. Our engagement during this event was exciting with lots of fun. Giving back to our community motivated the team and crews to deliver their best construction skills. Below are comments from some of our team members.

“Volunteering is to give myself a chance for growth, it makes me realize that helping others is a joy and that there are many things we don’t usually know, such as how to paint, how to work with colleagues from other disciplines. It also changes my attitude, which helps me to take delight in volunteer service, and seek self-improvement.” -Willard Huang

“We had a great time helping those with needs. I'm honored and humbled about what we all achieved. To be honest, what we have done is pretty handful compared to the people who are struggling with their life. It was a huge blessing and was meaningful to me, and I appreciate the opportunity to serve people in our community. It is wonderful that there are organizations for people to lean on during their time of need. Habitat for Humanity is an outstanding organization for having so many amazing people, and I would welcome another opportunity to work for them again.” -Luke Pan

“I really enjoyed my time last Friday. It was my first community engagement with CTCI Americas. It is always an honor and pleasure to be able to give back to the community. The community engagement also allowed to me to spend time communicating with coworkers who I do not see every day.” -David Benissan

“From the moment I decided to join the volunteering work, I felt a little nervous and anxious because I have never done anything like this before and worried that I could miss some details. Fortunately, I have a group of great teammates with me. We were willing to support each other and had a great teamwork.” -Eros Wang

We are grateful for our employees who were able to volunteer and make this happen!
