New Highlights of the 2025 CTCI Group ESG Awards: Advancing Sustainability with Renewed Impact

CTCI Group, ranked No. 1 in Taiwan and among the top 100 worldwide, is a global leader in turnkey projects. The Group closely monitors global trends on  sustainable development, will actively promoting ESG practices through its core business. To foster a better understanding and knowledge on sustainability related topics for its employees, CTCI’s Sustainability and Net Zero Office and the CTCI Education Foundation jointly organized the CTCI Group ESG Awards. The awards feature two major topics including “Environmental Actions” and “Social Impact”.

This year, the awards introduced new categories, including the Sustainability Promotion Ambassadors Award, to encourage employees to turn ideas into action. In addition, the Global Star Award was launched to increase participation among foreign employees, fostering cross-cultural communication and diverse perspectives—both of which are essential to advancing sustainability initiatives. Through this initiative, employees are invited to reflect on how sustainability can be embedded into their daily work and to take concrete actions—reinforcing CTCI’s vision to become a true “Guardian of Sustainable Earth.”



2025 Submission Results and Highlights

The 2025 event received active responses from both domestic and foreign colleagues. After a careful evaluation from the panel consisted of numerous experts and scholars, 10 outstanding projects were selected at the end for the event.

This year’s event generated strong engagement, with a total of 42 entries in the Environmental Action category and 25 entries in the Social Impact category. In addition, there were 8 submissions from the Environmental Action division and 3 from the Social Impact division for the Sustainability Promotion Ambassadors Awards, as well as 10 submissions for the Global Star Award. A total prize pool of NT$310,000 was awarded, and the award ceremony was held on October 31, 2025, with 63 participants joining the event both in person and online. 

The selected entries demonstrate how hands-on exercises and capacity-building workshops have stimulated diverse thinking and innovative actions. These activities encourage participants to further reflect and engage in sustainability-related initiatives, opening more doors along the Group’s path toward a sustainable transition.

 “A Knowledge Graph-Based Intelligent ESG Consultation System”
This project is a breakthrough in overcoming the limitations of traditional vector similarity search by integrating knowledge graphs and semantic verification mechanisms. The approach delivers traceable responses while leveraging AI tools to enhance the efficiency of knowledge graph construction. Building on this smart knowledge system, CTCI is well positioned to advance its long-term roadmap for intelligent transformation and sustainable development.
Golden Award, Social Impact Category-
Individual Submissions Ya-Sheng Lee | 
“‘The Most Reliable Construction Unit’ Creative Picture Book Project”
This project utilizes picture book as a medium to integrate engineering expertise with children’s education, conveying and reinforcing CTCI’s “Most Reliable” brand image. Designed as interactive storybooks, the product provides guided learning that helps children understand safety measures across different scenarios, fostering self-protection awareness and a sense of responsibility while further strengthening CTCI’s positive impact on society.


Taking Sustainability Forward in 2026 and Beyond

This year’s award-winning submissions from both teams and individuals demonstrate strong insight and innovation in addressing ESG topics through practical actions and diverse thinking, establishing a solid foundation for future sustainability transformation. Building on this momentum, the CTCI Group ESG Award will return in April 2026 to recognize outstanding contributions and innovative approaches to sustainability initiatives. Through the sharing of selected cases and continued support for sustainability activities, the Group aims to inspire broader participation and further strengthen CTCI employees’ “Sustainability DNA,” expanding sustainability impact across CTCI.
