CTCI Welfare Committee Fosters Sustainability Through Employee Clubs
CTCI has long been committed to sustainable development. Beyond advancing green transformation through its engineering expertise, the Group actively embeds social responsibility and cultural inclusion into its corporate culture. Supported by the CTCI Group Joint Employee Welfare Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Welfare Committee), nearly 30 diverse employee clubs have been established to encourage staff participation in social issues, promote physical and mental well-being, and translate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into concrete actions throughout 2024 and 2025.
Caring for Ukrainian Children: Delivering Corporate Compassion Across Borders
In alignment with the mission statement of SDG 16: “ Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”, CTCI’s Foreign Language & International Exchange Club organized the “Caring for Children in War-Torn Ukraine” relief and reconstruction initiative in 2024. As part of the “Good Samaritan Action,” Ukrainian teachers residing in Taiwan were invited to share firsthand accounts of life amid conflict and ongoing reconstruction efforts in their homeland. Through these personal stories, CTCI employees gained deeper insight into the humanitarian challenges brought about by war. All lecture proceeds were donated to churches in conflict-affected areas of Ukraine to support the establishment of centers dedicated to the psychological, emotional, and spiritual recovery of children—demonstrating CTCI Group’s tangible commitment to global humanitarian care.
Cultural Exchange Without Borders: Sustainability Begins with Understanding
In 2025, the Foreign Language & International Exchange Club continued to promote multiculturalism and sustainability through a series of educational and interactive activities. During the Dragon Boat Festival, a special cultural event invited overseas employees in Taiwan to experience traditional customs such as hanging out mugwort, tasting zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), and enjoying a performance of the classic Chinese opera “The Legend of the White Snake.”

Through hands-on participation, colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds gained a deeper understanding of the festival’s historical origins and cultural significance, fostering appreciation for Taiwan’s rich cultural heritage. In addition, the International Night event continues to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue by introducing Taiwanese customs and encouraging overseas colleagues to share their own cultures and lifestyles. These exchanges enhance mutual understanding and respect, contributing to a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.

Building an Inclusive Workplace Through Language Learning
To further encourage cross-cultural learning, the Welfare Committee supports language courses including Japanese, Thai, and Mandarin Chinese. These programs enable employees of different nationalities to learn new languages, strengthen communication, and enhance collaboration across teams. Through language exchange and learning, CTCI cultivates a people-centered environment where every employee can grow and thrive, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to inclusivity and mutual respect.
Protecting the Planet Together : Green Actions in Motion
Beyond cultural initiatives, several Welfare Committee–affiliated clubs actively engage in environmental protection efforts. The Photography Club, Reading Club, Calligraphy & Painting Club, and Bridge Club jointly organized beach clean-up activities, taking concrete action to protect marine ecosystems. In collaboration with the Sustainability and Net-Zero Office, the Welfare Committee also hosted the screening of “Guardians of Our Planet ”. Through visual storytelling and environmental education, the event heightened employees’ awareness of environmental issues and helped embed sustainability values into everyday life.

Through its wide range of employee clubs and sustainability-driven initiatives, the CTCI Group Joint Employee Welfare Committee not only deepens employees’ understanding of the SDGs but also transforms sustainability from a concept into daily practice. From international humanitarian support and cultural exchange to language learning and environmental action, these clubs serve as dynamic platforms for employees to actively participate in building a more inclusive, responsible, and sustainable future. By taking action together, CTCI employees demonstrate care, responsibility, and shared commitment—making sustainability an integral part of CTCI Group’s corporate culture and contributing to a better world for generations to come.
