Teaming Up with Welfare Platform to Enrich Colleague Benefits
As a Guardian of Sustainable Earth, CTCI is committed to investing its core business in sustainable development. Aligned in vision, the CTCI Group Welfare Committee upholds this concept by offering diverse benefits to the group's colleagues. This article explores how the Welfare Committee integrates reward point distribution, club activities, and travel packages for employees with ESG initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Boosting Efficiency and Sustainability with Welfare Platform Integration
To streamline the distribution, delivery, and management of gift certificates and gifts, while ensuring both domestic and international employees receive timely welfare updates, the Welfare Committee has partnered with suppliers to establish an integrated Welfare Platform since 2019. By distributing e-vouchers instead of paper back gift cards, the Welfare Committee ensures convenient and efficient distribution while offering more flexible options for using welfare points. Colleagues can freely choose from a diverse range of services and items that cater to their everyday needs, including gourmet, fashion, hotels, sporting goods, and entertainment. Through the issuance of e-vouchers, the Welfare Committee distributed 43 million reward points in 2023 and 28 million in 2024, saving up to 70,000 paper vouchers and aligning with the Group’s ESG initiatives. The welfare platform also fosters a sustainable living environment, encouraging colleagues to enjoy benefits while contributing to sustainable development through green consumption.
Collaborating with Clubs to Drive ESG Initiatives and Support SDG Activities
To promote sustainability, the Welfare Committee has revised its club management guidelines, encouraging associations to partner with green suppliers. Beginning in 2023, a dedicated budget for sustainable activities was introduced, motivating clubs to organize events that prioritize eco-friendly or charity-focused products. Clubs hosting activities aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are eligible for an additional 10% funding, subject to careful review and approval. Following the implementation of the measures mentioned above, the results of the sustainable initiatives and public welfare activities for CTCI clubs in 2024 are outlined

In terms of travel subsidies, for example, CTCI allocates nearly NTD.20,000,000 in the annual budget for travel-related subsidies through the Welfare Committee and actively promotes sustainable tourism to maximize its impact. For instance, after the Hualien-Taitung earthquake this year, in response to government policies, the Welfare Committee specifically organized travel activities in the Hualien-Taitung area to revitalize the local green economy. When selecting travel agencies, priority is given to those that align with the sustainability concept and can implement low-carbon travel. Additionally, hotels that do not provide personal toiletry items are preferred, and local dining experiences and green transportation options are incorporated into the travel plan.

In the future, the Welfare Committee will continue to explore ways to provide better benefits for colleagues while planning activities that align with ESG trends. These efforts will support CTCI Group’s ongoing progress toward sustainable development and help realize the ESG vision of being "a Guardian of Sustainable Earth."
