Taiwan CTCI Wins Taiwan Sustainability Action Silver Award for
Excellence in Water Resource Engineering

TAIPEI, August 12, 2022- We are glad to announce that CTCI’s contribution in water resource engineering has been recognized with Taiwan Sustainability Action Silver Award 2022.

An award ceremony was held on Aug. 12 at Taipei Exhibition Hall One. On behalf of the company, Ming-Shyan Lee (right), President at IEPBO, CTCI Corporation, accepted the award from Kuo-Yung Hsu, Minister of the Interior.
The award is organized by Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the implementation of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by various sectors across Taiwan. With the aim to strengthen international exchanges, this year the Taiwan Sustainability Action Award is firstly held in conjunction with Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA) and Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Expo & Summit.
With an impressive record in sustainability performance, CTCI has also been invited to attend the exposition and invite over 180,000 visitors from Taiwan and other Asia-Pacific countries to learn more about CTCI and its sustainability efforts.
CTCI is highly recognized by the judges for water resource engineering in water resource reuse/reclamation and development projects and help solving global water shortage over the past four decades. It has been engaged in various landmark water reclamation plant projects in Taiwan, including Taiwan’s first municipal wastewater reclamation plant, Fengshan Water Resources Center; the first integrated sewage treatment and reclamation plant in Taiwan, Kaohsiung Linhai Wastewater Treatment Plant; and the world’s first reclamation plant for industrial wastewater that can contribute to the use of semiconductor process, Southern Taiwan Science Park (TSMC) Wastewater Reclamation Unit. These high-profile projects have provided opportunities for CTCI to explore alternative water sources in Taiwan, hence fulfilling a circular economy.

CTCI is committed to building a more sustainable world with its core competencies and realizing a vision of "Guarding the Earth with Constant Innovation in Green Engineering."
