Final Winners for "Let's Go for CSR Together! 2019 Corporate Sustainability Action Initiative" Come Out

In order to bring together all members of CTCI and implement global sustainability collectively, CTCI and the CTCI Education Foundation (CTCI EF) jointly held "Let's Go for CSR Together! 2019 Corporate Sustainability Action Initiative" to motivate employees to propose sustainable action plans for CTCI’s relevant business using their innovative thinking. With the enthusiastic participation of all employees at home and abroad, a total of 21 teams signed up. After the three stages of selection: preliminary review, semi-final review, and final review, the presentation and award ceremony for excellent proposals were held on December 18, 2019.

John T. Yu, Group Chairman, Ming-Cheng Hsiao, CEO of the Group Shared Services, and Ambassador Eugene Chien, Chairman of CTCI EF attended the presentation of the proposals of the top three winning teams in person. Chairman Yu also awarded prize money to the top three winning teams, recognizing their participation and creativity. Meanwhile, in his speech, he said that in addition to encouraging employees to think about how to link CTCI's core business to CSR to respond to the specific 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during the implementation of the work, he hoped that employees would be proud of their work as it made a contribution to the planet and the country, enabling CTCI to exert greater influence as a company in the global sustainable development. Ambassador Eugene Chien also stated in his speech that the outstanding achievements of CTCI's long-term commitment to CSR have made it a role model in the industry.

This event began in March with total prize money of NT$600,000. After careful review by external CSR experts through the three stages of selection, five out of 21 proposals were selected and subsidized to advance to the final review. Finally, three teams were selected as winners, and the list of the winners is as shown in the table below.
